Understand the export
A unified .diff describes changes from original.txt to modified.txt. Export is enabled only for exact comparisons. Modified-text export contains the complete right-hand input.
Files and line endings
UTF-8 file imports retain their original line endings until you edit that input. Typing or pasting uses the browser editor’s LF line endings. CRLF, LF and missing final newlines are shown in changed rows.
Processing runs in a separate browser worker and can be cancelled. Large comparisons show a bounded preview to keep the page responsive.
